Shipping policy
1) Scope
This policy applies to all purchases made on the MUHATA website and should be read together with the Terms & Conditions.
2) Destinations, Carrier, and Tracking
We ship to Portugal (Mainland and Islands), Spain, the European Union, and various non-EU countries. Orders are shipped via CTT (domestic and international services). Whenever possible, we provide a tracking number so you can follow your delivery.
3) Processing and Dispatch

Preparation/dispatch: up to 3 business days after payment confirmation.

The final delivery time depends on the carrier and destination. After dispatch, MUHATA does not control the timelines.
4) Timeframes and Costs (transit after dispatch)
The timeframes below refer to transit after dispatch and may vary due to logistics and/or customs clearance. The exact cost is shown at checkout before payment.

5) International Shipping, Taxes, and Customs
For shipments outside Portugal, destination-country taxes and customs duties may apply and are the Customer’s responsibility. Customs clearance may add time to the transit period. If the customer refuses to pay customs charges, the order may return to sender and will be treated as a refusal of receipt (not a right of withdrawal). In such cases, we may deduct transportation (outbound/return) and customs costs actually incurred, in accordance with the law.
6) Failed Delivery and Reshipments
If the order is returned due to an incorrect address, no recipient available, or refusal of delivery, reshipment costs are borne by the Customer. Payment for reshipment must be made within 14 business days after our notification email; if payment is not made, we may cancel the order and deduct the actual shipping/return costs incurred.
7) Delays and Force Majeure
Shipping is provided by external carriers, so we do not guarantee exact delivery dates and are not liable for unforeseen delays (e.g., strikes, weather conditions, logistics disruptions). If it is not possible to meet the estimated date, we will notify you and you may choose to proceed with a new date or cancel for a full refund (paid within 14 calendar days after your cancellation).
8) Proof of Delivery
Delivery is deemed to have occurred when you (or a person indicated by you) acquire physical possession of the products, evidenced by the signed proof of delivery at the address provided.
